Studies shown that the biggest spending of the season is Travel, followed by Christmas Gifts and Christmas parties hosting.

As we are wrapping up our year end, and happily spending for our loved one, it’s time to also stock take our finances:

  1. Contribute to SRS for tax saving and invest your SRS for growth
  2. Top Up your CPF retirement sum and enjoy tax saving
  3. Review your insurance portfolio to match your current living standard
  4. Refinance your mortgage loan to benefit from decreasing interest rate
  5. Review your regular investment allocation from your income, ensure your portfolio is inflation-adjusted

Stocktaking your own portfolio is akin to doing regular health check on your health. Just like your own health, you also want to make sure that your financial health is in check!
